The irony

Trying not to love with all I have… I’m holding back cos I think it gets to them…
Learning not to trust so blindly… cos the closer they are to you the more they seem to hurt you…
Learning not to expect anything from anyone – patience, mutual respect and understanding seems like too much to ask for…
Learning to live pretending to be connected to the entire world but understanding that I’m alone at the end of the day…
Accepting today for what it is n stopping myself from wandering too far away with my dreams of a blissful tomorrow…

I think I’m growing up…
