TWENTY FOUR!!!

I just turned 24… for some odd reason being 24 seems so much older than 23!! I had a great b’day… sometimes wish we could stop time… just live in those beautiful moments…

My b’day – time spent at dad’s house… together as family… something I didn’t wanna let go off… I didn’t want those moments to pass… Da had decorated his little aboard, showered me with gifts, ma n he reminisced the time I came into this world n lit up their lives…we all drank n danced… had such a blast… We were at peace.
Family- when two people get together and make their own world… with their own rules… their own expressions of love… have fun in their own crude way…
I am on the train, heading back home… hit with reality… badly bruised… da’s word and his silence n indifference ringing in my head… back to wondering if he really cares…
