the closed door

Tried really hard to get through... strived with all my might to break in... gave it all i had...

Yet it remained unopened... unmoved... staring at me as though it was questioning my audacity...

Lifeless and passive i sit... eyes still fixed at the door... hoping it will open... Why am i waiting? knowing very well that now, even if it does, i don't have the strength or the will to take those few steps through it and venture into that world again...
